SHARON OSBOURNE REVEALS OZZY LOST HIS ABILITY TO WALK IN ENGLISH
In a candid interview with the UK’s The Times, Sharon Osbourne, wife and manager of heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne, has shockingly revealed that her husband has been unable to walk in the past year due to a serious spinal injury.
The 72-year-old rock icon, who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, began experiencing numbness and tingling in his feet several years ago, but the condition rapidly worsened in recent months, leaving him wheelchair-bound.
"It’s been bloody hard for me, to be honest," Sharon revealed. "I’ve had to become his full-time caregiver. It’s a challenge, but I’m managing. I’m used to being strong and sorting things out myself, but this has been a real test for me."
Ozzy, a British heavy metal god and former Black Sabbath frontman, has been a rockstar for over five decades, entertaining millions of fans worldwide. But despite his larger-than-life persona, he has been quietly struggling with his health for several years.
Sharon, 68, praised her husband for his bravery, saying: "He’s an absolute trooper, to be honest. He’s never complained. He’s been getting on with it, doing what he has to do. I’m proud of him, to be honest."
The couple, who have been married for over 38 years, have three children together – Aimee, Kelly, and Jack, who is a popular TV personality.
In addition to his physical limitations, Ozzy has also been dealing with the challenges of living with Parkinson’s disease, which affects movement, balance, and coordination.
Despite these setbacks, Sharon remains optimistic, crediting their strong relationship and family support for keeping them going. "We have each other, and we have our children, and we have our family, our friends. And, you know, we’re getting through it. It’s hard, but we’re getting through it."
The Osbourne family has been an iconic part of British entertainment history, with Ozzy’s metal legends Black Sabbath inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and their reality TV shows, such as "The Osbournes," and "Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour," earning critical acclaim.
Sharon’s emotional reveal has sparked an outpouring of support from fans, friends, and fellow celebrities, with many praising the couple’s strength and resilience in the face of adversity.
As Ozzy continues to navigate his health challenges, Sharon remains by his side, urging fans to rally around her beloved husband and the entire Osbourne family. "We’re just taking things one day at a time, and I’m just grateful we’ve got each other," she said.
The rock legend’s health struggles serve as a poignant reminder of the importance of mental and physical well-being, as well as the resilience of the human spirit.
In the words of Ozzy himself, "It’s been a wild ride, and I’m just glad to be still here, doing what I do best – rocking out, and making music with my friends, and enjoying the ride."
