Congress President Andhra Pradesh (APCC) Yarmil said on Thursday (May 22, 2025) that YSRCP was in the grip of fear when “alcoholic scam” developed in the state.
When she addressed the media, she said that President Ysrp Yagan Mohan Reddy in an effort to solve her concern and seeking security began to talk about it. “However, the language used by Mr. Jagan is not suitable with the former main minister,” said Mrs. Sharmila.
He takes a strong exception to Mr. Jagan’s claims that he undress his uniforms and beat them, said she was inappropriate for the former main minister to speak.
She blamed her brother, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy of using the police during her time at political profit, and quoted cases of Raghu Ramakrishny Raju and Kadambari Jethwani who were “subjected to police harassment and pushed behind bars”.
Mrs. Sharmila said Mr. Jagan should also go to the assembly and demand an investigation. “If you are unable to ask for an investigation, it means that you are guilty,” she said, adding that Mr. Jagan should prove his honesty by explaining why there were no digital payments in alcohol stores and where income disappeared.
