The Indian Federation of Students (SFI) announced that on Thursday (July 10, 2025), it would boycott to protest against the Governor of Kely Rajendra Alelekar, the “attempt at Christ university” in Kerala.
SFI President M. Sivaprasad told journalists on Wednesday that students of universities and schools were teaching with SFI and marched by the offices of the central government throughout the state against Mr. Alekar’s attempt “to undermine the autonomy of universities financed in the state in the state”.
Mr Sivaprasad also warned that SFI boycotted “temporary vice-chairman” appointed by Raj Bhavan to “persecuted Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Hinduitaritarity, Anti-Mini-Mini-Borita
The Kerela was accused by a student Union (KSU) of turning his back to the widespread protests for “democracy and secularism” on campuses. He accused the leader of the opposition of VD Satheesan of Reining in KSU to help RSS.
SFI said that the congress united democratic front (UDF) and Bharatiya Janata side (BJP) were in an agreement in the higher education sector. “The Chancellor emphasized the leader of the congress and Indian Union Muslim League (iuml) for the Calicut Varsity Senate.
Sats Satheesan
SFI gained a strong exception to Mr. Satheesen’s supposed statement that the SFI protests on the Keral University campus in Thiruvananthapurama were the police of hooliganism.
Mr. Sivaprasad said that SFI “does not need to cover power” to fight for his causes, as Mr. Satheesan said. “Up to 30 SFI leaders are in a judicial transformation protesting against the offers of the Governor to Saffronis Higher Education on the Campus of the Senate in Thiruvananthapuram. Much suffered injuries after wrestling with the police,” he said.
Mr. Sivaprasad accused Mr. Satheesen of the “hidden sympathizer of the RSS”.
“Mr. Satheesan was thinking before the portrait of the RSS ideologist in the position of Sangh Parivar before the portrait of RSS on the social media,” he added.
Attitude Sathesan Reites
Meanwhile, Mr. Satheesen repeated his attitude that SFI had disrupted the function of Varsity and threatened the future of students by crossing the Hall of the Senate with “Tichy Approve”.
He told reporters in Kochi that SFI workers had selected KSU activists for attacks on university campuses.
Mr Satheesan said that Congress was in the forefront of the struggle against the Governor’s offers at the State University and that the opposition “did not require confirmation of SFI”.
