Minister Labor Vasamsetti Subhash handed seven drones to a group of farmers in Draksharamam in Dr. BR AMBEDKAR KONASEEMA.
Drones, worth 68 Lakhs, were delivered under the subsidy offered by the central government. Recently, farmers were trained in drone operations.
When Mr Subhash addressed the assembly of farmers, he said the drones were equipped with thermal sensors that record the level of moisture for better crop control. The drones are primarily designed for direct sowing, spraying of fertilizers and pesticides.
