Settipalli plots: Registration documents distributed to beneficiaries

All the beneficiaries who have successfully completed the Settipalli land registration received the registration documents from the hands of MA&UD Minister Ponguru Narayana and District In-Charge Minister and Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad at a function organized by Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) at Kachchapi Auditorium in Tirupati on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Satya Prasad said, “The main objective of the state government is to turn the dream of owning a house into a reality for the poor people. A house is the basis of a dignified life for every family. Therefore, the government has given special attention to providing land for houses and facilities for construction of housing for the deserving poor.”

“Eligible beneficiaries are transparently identified and house titles are distributed in Settipalli area. The revenue department plays a key role in expeditiously resolving land-related issues and providing rights to the poor. The state government is using technology to provide better services to the people by regulating land records in villages and towns,” the minister added.

The revenue minister assured that the beneficiaries who have acquired the house titles should proceed with confidence and that the government will support them in every way. He stated that gradually not only the land will be built, but also the necessary infrastructure, communication, drinking water and electricity.

Meanwhile, Minister Narayana said, “The Settipalli land issue, which has been pending for more than 70 years, came to the notice of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in 2014 and he ordered an immediate resolution of the issue, after which a survey was conducted. Later, in 2024, he directed the district revenue minister to resolve the issue and he immediately issued a resolution order.”

“As a result, the land registration process has sSettipalli: Registration documents distributed to beneficiaries have started for 2,048 beneficiaries in Settipalli. The chief minister has also resolved the land problems that have been persisting for more than 40 years in Nellore municipal district. Similarly, wherever such problem exists in the state,” he added that immediate steps were taken to resolve the land problems.
