TDP chief and Civil Society Groups Joint Action Committee (Praja Sanghala JAC) state president Akkivarapu Mohana Rao on Thursday urged Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh to set up skill development centers in all cities and towns of the North Andhra region. He said the aim is to enable the youth to get quick employment in Google data center and other IT companies coming up in Visakhapatnam.
In a press release, he lauded the efforts of the two leaders in securing Google’s investment of around ₹ 1.25 crore to set up India’s largest data center in the port city.
Mr. Mohan emphasized that proper training of technical college students and other courses would meet the expectations of Google and other similar companies. He added that the youth of Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Parvatipuram-Manyam districts cheered the vision of Mr. Chandrababu Naidu and Mr. Lokesh, who attracted investments worth around ₹ 6.5 lakh crore in the last one and a half years.
Mr. Mohana Rao hoped that the CII Partnership Summit to be held on November 14-15, 2025 in Visakhapatnam would encourage top companies to choose the North Andhra region for their investments.
