President KPCC and Vice -Chairman of the Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, who promised his loyalty to the Gandhi family and sang Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) anthem “Namaste Vatsale Matribhume” appears to be a strengthening political message.
‘Born Congressman’
The next day after singing the anthem, the leader, widely known as the removal of problems in the State Congress, he confirmed his undying loyalty to the party. He said he “born as a congressman and died as a congressman”.
It seems that Mr. Shivakumar reminded the party command of the so -called agreement to share power with the main Minister Siddarahaiaha and his desire to capture the sought -after post by the end of the year to gain enough time for the next elections to the assembly. The problem he learns took the back seat under the instructions from the highest brass side.
Interestingly, Mr. Shivakumar also dropped the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday during the answer to Bengalur development on Friday. He offered Mr. Modi Ganesha Idol when the latter 10th August launched a yellow line in the city.
Previously, the head of KPCC went with his wife to be immersed in Triveni Sangama during Kumbh and later appreciated the main Minister UTTAR Pradesh Yogi Adityanath for “good arrangement”.
Softer
Unlike Mr. Siddaramaiaha, Mr. Shivakumar was not largely a critic of Modi or his reign. Unlike the former AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge and the leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, who are clear in their ideological differences with RSS and BJP, Mr. Shivakumar seems to be a soft soft hindutva. Also in Congress there are several legislators who sympathize with the RSS, but refrain from their opinions on the public, say the resources of the parties.
In the middle of the ongoing investigation of SIT in Dharmasthale above the alleged mass burial, the head of KPCC, who often performed temple runs, surprised everyone by saying that the conspiracy that interfered with the image of the temple city.
In March, Mr. Shivakumar also shared the stage with the Minister of the Union AMIT Shah during the Mahashivaratri celebrations in Coimbatore organized by the ISHA Foundation. Then some congress leaders, including KN Rajann, questioned Mr. Shivakumar, who shared the stage with those who were critical of Mr. Gandhi.
Not always enemies
Although the Minister’s representative could say that his singing of the RSS anthem has “no political meaning”, the past history shows that the RSS and Congress leaders are not always on loggerheads.
For example, former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao was accused of being soft to the RSS. During his regime, Babri Masjid was demolished. Former President Pranab Mukherjee visited the headquarters of the RSS in 2018. In the same year, the head of RSS Mohan Bhagwat said that the slogan BJP “Congress-Muct Bharat” is a political slogan.
Although Mr. Siddaramaiah announced that he would be the main minister for full period, speculation continued to change the leadership at the end of this year. In the middle of it, there is a guesswork about what Mr. Shivakumar has signaled by singing the RSS anthem. Is he interested that he appears as his own brand “Hindutvy icon” of congress, or does it plan to do anything else despite its loud protests? This is a question that is placed in political circles.
