On Saturday (June 21, 2025), several people, including children and older citizens, participated here.
The Minister of the Union Suresh Gopi, which led the program held in Bolgatta Palace Event Centers, said yoga should become a healthy nation among people everyday. “Good health is necessary for the development of the country and yoga is the only way to achieve it,” he added.
The actor Mohanlal took part in the program held at the Congress Center Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) in Nedumbassery. It was joined by several children in a demonstration of yoga techniques. On this occasion, the actor urged the youth to stay outside the threat of drugs and describe it as a cancer that destroys human health.
The mass yoga meeting was organized by the Directorate of the Indian Coast Guard No. 4 (Kerala & Mahe) at its headquarters in Fort Kochi. The event took place in cooperation with Kochi Cultural Heritage and Tourism Society and Brahma Kumaris Foundation. About 300 participants, including officers, included staff, defense civilians and family members of the Coast Guard brotherhood, took part in the meeting.

At the Central Institute for Fishing Maritime and Engineering Training in Kochi, director M. Habibullah started international yoga programs. Officers, employees and students participated and practiced “yoga asanas” on this occasion.
Sankacharya University of Sanskrit, Kalads held a Yoga dance event. The program, organized by the Faculty and Students of the Ministry of Physical Education, emphasized the importance of yoga.
The district police chief (Kochi City) Putt Vimaladitya launched the Yoga Day program, which took place in the amrita hospital. Students and teachers participated in training.
M. Junaid Bushiri, Vice -President, Cochin University of Science and Technology, was launched by Yoga Day programs organized by the Ministry of Physical Education in cooperation with the National Service Scheme and Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering on his campus Thrikkara.
TJ Vinod, MLA, was the main guest of the program organized by the 7 (K) naval unit of the NCC in St. Teresa’s CGHSS, Ernakulam. Participants have shown various asanas and breathing equipment.
