Governor’s attendance
The delay led to the criticism of some members of the Senate, who claims that the deviation was a violation of university regulations. However, university officials prevented decisions and stated that planning was made to suit the availability of Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Alelekar, who also serves as the Chancellor of the University.
The presence of the governor was considered necessary for management and efforts to determine the date provided by its participation were made.
Since Mr Alekar was interested in the position of Governor Kerala, he has deviated from conventions to attend the Senate of State University.
