A one-day workshop on ‘Mediation in Domestic Violence Cases’ was held at the Andhra Pradesh Judicial Officers Training Center at Kaza village in Mangalagiri mandal of Guntur district on Saturday.
The program was graced by Justice JK Maheshwari, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur, Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Justice Ravi Nath Tilhari, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy along with other judges and registrars of the Supreme Court also attended the event.
The workshop was attended by Chief District and Sessions Judges District Legal Services Officers (DLSA), one additional District Judge from each district, commissioned officers of commercial courts, Member Secretary of Andhra Pradesh Legal Services Authority, Secretary of High Court Legal Services Committee, Deputy Secretary of State Legal Services Authority, Secretaries of all District Legal Services Authorities and one Judge from each district.
From Guntur, B. Sai Kalyan Chakravarthi, Chief District and Sessions Judge and Syed Ziyauddin, Secretary DLSA participated in the programme.
The workshop was organized under the supervision of Chintalapudi Purushotham Kumar, Principal, Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy.
