Later, in a post on the Social Trump, Trump said, “I don’t care what India is doing with Russia. They can take their dead economies together, for everything I care about.”
Experts see the American tariff action as pressure tactics to make India agree to the US requirements that have been acquired by favorable trade agreements with main partners such as Japan, the United Kingdom and the European Union in recent days.
In particular, India has reinforced its attitude to expand concessions to Agri products, dairy and GM foods in a proposed bilateral trade agreement (BTA) with the USA.
