YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani has broken his silence amidst a recent controversy in India, addressing his fans in an emotional Instagram video. Chanchlani, speaking in a composed yet heartfelt tone, reassured his followers that he would face the situation head-on and emerge stronger. He urged them to stand by him when he returns after the storm has passed.
In the video, he began, “Hi, Kaise Ho AAP Log? I know, I’ve read your news—everything going on. I wanted to talk to you through my Instagram story, but now I’m struggling to find the right words. We’ve faced tough times before, and we’ll face this too. We’ll learn something new from this as well.”
Chanchlani also requested his supporters to keep him and his family in their prayers. He said, “My only request is that you keep my family and me in your prayers. When I return, my work might have shifted a bit here and there. Please support me when I come back. I will work hard. Just take care of yourselves, everyone.”
Following his statement, his comment section was flooded with messages of support. Filmmaker Farah Khan wrote, “I love you, Ashish,” while actor Rithvik Dhanjani assured him, “Upar Wala saath hai, bas” (God is with you, don’t worry). Fans also encouraged him to stay strong and return with renewed energy.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court lifted restrictions on YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia, allowing him to continue his show, “The Ranveer Show,” with the condition that its content adheres to standards of decency and morality. Allahabadia had faced backlash for a highly inappropriate question posed to a contestant during a live session in India, asking them to choose between their parents engaging in daily intimacy or intervening to stop it permanently.
The controversy also involved other creators, including Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija (alias Rebel), and comedian Jaspreet Singh. Mukhija’s comments about women’s private parts further fueled the outrage, adding to the ongoing debate.
