Security guard beaten to death with an iron rod in Kalaburagi

A 45-year-old security guard was brutally murdered with an iron rod near Ram Mandir in the city on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Ravichandra Khed, a resident of Aland check post in Kalaburagi.

According to preliminary information, Ravichandra was working as a watchman at a petrol shack near Ram Mandir.

The exact motive for the murder is still unknown.

Police officers from Station Bazar police station visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
