The incident occurred 11th April in MMP Aluminium Industries based in the NYED MIDC area in the Nagpur district. Five deceased workers, all aged between 20 and 25, were inhabitants of the district.
Two other workers suffered almost 80% of the injury of burns and are in critical condition. According to the official, they were moved from the Government Faculty and the hospital to the private hospital to Saturday for better treatment.
