Mysuru Deputy Commissioner Lakshmikant Reddy has directed Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) officials to ensure that drinking water lines, underground sewerage systems and electric cables are properly protected before the road works begin in various parts of the city.
The Deputy Commissioner presided over a meeting of officials from MCC and other departments on Monday in light of the approval given for white lining work on 12 roads in the city, with the first phase starting on Manandavadi Road, Bogadi Road and Vishwamanava Double Road.
