CEO Mandya Zilla Panchayat Kr nandini asked primary medical centers (PHC) to ensure the availability of sufficient reserves for snake and dog bite.
During a surprising visit to the PHC in the village of Chandagal in Mandya Taluk, Mrs. Nandini inspected medicines available in a hospital used for the treatment of snakes and dog bite and searched for details of their availability and expiry data.
If early treatment is provided on the PHC itself, it is possible to prevent patients from preventing urban hospitals, it has stressed.
During her visit to the PHC Mrs. Nandini, she reviewed employees’ participation, patients and outlaw records, hospitals purity, waste management and documentation related to Ayushman Bharat-Arogya Karnataka.
She also talked to ASHA works present in the hospital and recommended them to visit the houses in their jurisdiction and expand the awareness of the fever dengue and malaria.
Mrs. Nandini emphasized the need to encourage pregnant women to undergo regular checks and ensure timely vaccination for children.
Meanwhile, a medical officer in PHC Hemanth Raj pointed out that the new PHC building was sanctioned because the current building stood.
Given that the land on which the current PHC stood was under legal dispute was approved an alternative place for the construction of PHC, he added.
On this occasion, the Panchayat Vidya development officer and the elected gram Panchayat Gram Panchayat members in Chandagal were also present.
