The event, which opened for prospective home buyers on September 5, will also open on Sunday at the Chennai mall. The event is organized by Bank of Baroda. More than 200 projects from more than 45 leading developers will be presented at the event.
Mehul H. Doshi, President, CREDAI Chennai and Director, Doshi Housing Pvt. Ltd, said events like this have been helpful for homebuyers looking to evaluate multiple options. The Hindu Property Expo offers a good range of projects under one roof, he added.
Ravindra Rai M., CGM Bank of Baroda, said, “Bank of Baroda, which is partnering in this promotion, enhances the value offered by home loans with highly competitive interest rates, interest rate concessions for women and Gen Z customers, the new bob Swabhoomi home loan scheme for land purchase, among many other benefits, combined with a hassle-free process under bob and Home Loans is a quick one-stop solution for bob and Home Loans buyers in Chennai.”
Young women were among the prominent visitors to the fair, with many exploring real estate options and looking for their own real estate investments. Most of them were women in their 30s and were involved in business ventures.
Farida Begum Mohammed of the Adityaram Group sales team said people were increasingly looking to upgrade their homes to suit their lifestyle, with many visitors she met looking to buy a second home. She also pointed out that easier online approvals are encouraging people to buy real estate as consumers become more selective about where they choose to live.
“We have properties in all price ranges. Consumers are looking for properties ranging from 1,000 sq ft to 1,200 sq ft,” Akbar Basha R, Associate Director of Sales, G Square Group. More than 4,000 people attended the fair on the first day.
