Elections of ZP/TP in Karnataka have been taking place since May 2021 due to delay in defining the Panchayat constituencies and reservation notifications. In 2022, the state government separated the State Election Commission its powers to delimit the exercise and make a reservation.
However, the state government did not perform these two exercises in time and thus postponed public opinion surveys. After a long persuasion, it completed the process of definition in December 2023, but it is not yet announced by the reservation of seats.
