Twenty -four hours after one of the worst air disasters, Ravi Thakor stood in front of BJ Medical College in Ahmedabad, visibly desperate as he continued to find his mother and daughter Toddol. Both were within the hostel, which Air India Ahmedabad-London crashed minutes after taking off on Thursday and killed everyone except one on board.
At least 265 people were killed in the incident, including 241 passengers on the aircraft and several individuals on Earth.
“My mother, wife, and I work on BJ Medical College. Junior doctors come here to have lunch while food for higher doctors is wrapped and transported to the Tiffin Civil hospital. We wrapped food on Friday on Friday.
Because he, his father and his wife at that time were involved in the provision of Tiffin Service, the toddler was left in the care of her grandmother, who cooked in mess.
“At the time of the crash, my mother Sarla and Daughter Aadya was wrong. It’s 24 hours, but I don’t have a clue about what happened to them. I went through lists provided by the authorities and I was looking for them in civil and private hospitals all night,” frustration said from his tone.
He added that all missing students and body were charged. “Only my mother and daughter are inexhaustible. The guards will not leave anyone in the mess.
The police previously said that there were four MBBS students and a medical wife among those killed on Earth. Several students were reportedly injured by parts of the aircraft, which during the lunch hours hit the dining room of the multi -storey hostel building.
Meena Masters, a cookbook, said she and others were preparing a rotis when the plane crashed.
“At first we thought it was an explosion of the war, but when a massive fiery ball was seen, we knew it was something much bigger and ominous. We just hurried to save our lives, leave keys, phones, etc. My two -rounds.
Neemaben Nigam, another cook, also initially believed that it was an explosion of a gas cylinder. “We are cooking for doctors and students for 30 years. We are a team of 15 people. After we saw the flames, we just ran without looking back,” she said.
