The former long -time assistant of the music tycoon Sean “Diddy” Combs stood up on Tuesday, May 27, in the Federal Court and offered a tormenting testimony of threats, kidnapping and violent abuse associated with Combs’ relationship with his ex -girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.
Capricorn Clark, who worked his way through the Combs Business Empire, told the jurors that in December 2011 Combs appeared in her house in jealous rage, armed with a weapon after he learned that Ventura was seeing rapper Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi.
“We Kill Kid Cudi”
“He said,” We’ll kill Kid Cudi, “Clark testified, describing how Combs had forced her to go to the shooting range with him.
Cudi had previously testified that his car was lit in January 2012, shortly after Combs learned about the relationship – Ventura’s threat previously claimed that he had created Combs.
Violent abuse and control
Clark confirmed the earlier testimony of Ventura and Mescudi and described the formula of the threat and violence of Combs. She remembered that in the same period she remembered that Ventura was physically attacked: “Every kick that would become more and more crouched into a fetal position,” Clark said.
She also testified that Combs repeatedly threatened her life and once said, “You’ll never work again … will force you to kill you.”
Clark said she was forced to carry out a five -day test detector test after Combs accused her of stealing diamond jewelry.
Assistant for executive, then target
Clark worked as a personal Combs assistant before he advanced to a powerful role in his fashion brand Sean John. Despite the abuse, she said she was still working for him because of his threats and fear he had instilled.
“It was impossible to find a job elsewhere,” she said.
Clark claimed that Ventura at one point contributed to her shooting after tension in the love triangle.
What will be in court proceedings
Clark is still the most important former employee who has been evidenced so far. The prosecutors claim that CombS was led by a criminal enterprise involving trading in sex, bribery, kidnapping and arson. The court continues in the federal court in Manhattan. Combs, 55, confessed that he was not guilty of all the accusations. If he is convicted, he faces 15 years in life in prison.
Other witnesses include a police officer in Los Angeles, arson investigator, stylist Deonte Nash and another alleged victim who also worked for Combs.
The court, now in its third week, is expected to continue with more witnesses, including the investigator of the arson and other former employees.
