Kerala police issued an circular announcing the creation of universities in all university institutions in the state.
The aim of the committees is to prevent rising drug abuse between youth, solutions of violence, cyber and anti -social activities, ensuring immediate support during emergencies and supporting healthy cooperation between universities, students and police.
According to a circle issued by the Chief of the State Police, the committee will be chaired by the headmaster of the university and convened by the House Station (SHE) official. This will also include representatives of students, councilors of the department, PTA members and prominent persons.
The Social Police Directorate will be responsible for the coordination, management and supervision of the functioning of the school protection committees. The State Committee for Tracking Committees will also be created. The panel will include the Chief of the State Police, the Commissioner for Exclusions and the Director of College Education, Technical Education and Women and the Department of Child Development.
In addition, subcommittee at the district level under the supervision of district police chiefs will also be established. The WhatsApp Group throughout the district will also be created for coordination and sharing of proven procedures.
Committees will strive to authorize students and employees, prevent abuse of addictive substances, solve security concerns and perform campaigns of awareness of topics such as cyber security, abuse of addictive substances and mental health. They will also organize programs of raising awareness of road safety, disaster management training and self -defense programs for women.
It is assumed that the panels provide students with a platform so that they can report complaints without fear and ensure timely solutions.
