
All government and private schools in Lucknow, from classes 1 to 12, will remain closed today due to bad weather and heavy rain in Uttar Pradesh parts, the district judge Visakh G Iyer announced.
The aim of this step is to ensure the safety of students in the middle of water and disturbed traffic caused by heavy rains in Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh.
“Given the bad weather and rain conditions in parts of the state, all government and non -governmental schools from classes 1 to 12 will be closed today in Lucknow,” said Lucknow DM Visakh G Iyer.
The weather today
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted the magic of mild to intense rainfall mainly over Haryana, Chandigar, Delhi, Panjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, North Madhya Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh soon on Thursday.

In Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, IMD said that monsoon activity was set to reinforce in the next 48 hours driven by a low -pressure area above the Bengal bay.
“The weather system caused the eastern end of the monsoon trough to move south. It is probably a widespread light into a slight precipitation, with isolated heavy to very heavy showers, in most parts of the state,” IMD said.
The intensity and precipitation of precipitation is expected to facilitate from August 15th.
