An unidentified man, around the age of 30, was committed on Tuesday (August 12, 2025) in a school bus parked in BMBR layout in Banaswadi.
The passers -by noticed the fire on the bus and pointed out the fire control. The fire and emergency staff threw himself into the place and set fire before the body was restored.
The police said the man was burned during his sleep. They found a bed and a pillow around the body and a few smoked Beedis. They took the case of suspicious death and moved the body to a post mortem.
The police suspect that death was caused by a random fire caused by burning Beedis. Also, officers do not exclude the possibility of polluted games and initiate the investigation to find out the identity of the deceased.
The bus belonging to Arnu was parked by the road after being extinct for several months. The vehicle was 14 years old and had no documents or insurance. The owner planned to sell the bus, the police said.
