The transport department, which continued cool against the humiliation buses belonging to educational institutions, fined 22 such vehicles that go to roads without proper documentation on Friday 13th June).
According to the officials of the transport department, fines were imposed for operation without valid fitness certificates and for the absence of compulsory first aid sets on board. The sanctions were also slapped for the missing valid permits and for non -payment of prescribed taxes.
Previously, up to 40 vehicles from all over Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Medchal – Malkajgiri were confiscated and fines were imposed. The officials said the buses would be released after the fines were paid.
