
Lok Sabha to make a proposal to eliminate justice Varma, movement was not accepted in Rajya Sabha
Lok Sabha will accept the Bipartisan proposal to remove the justice of Yashwant Varma, which is involved in a suspicious case of corruption, because the announcement of the opposition sponsored on a similar proposal was not accepted.
Minister of parliamentary affairs Kiren Rijija said on Friday (July 25, 2025) that it was a unanimous decision of all political parties to join united in the case of perceived corruption in the judiciary and claimed that Lok Sabha would adopt a proposal, which was signed by 152 deputies.
The official sources stated that the announcement sponsored by the opposition for a similar proposal in Rajya Sabha, which received it on the same day when Lok Sabha 21 was presented to a bipartisan announcement, was not accepted.
This ends speculation about the fate of the announcement signed by 63 members of the opposition parties Rajya Sabha. Then Rajya Sabha chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar mentioned that he had received it in the house, alarmed the government, and triggered a chain of events that led to his sudden resignation at the same night.
