From the supply of intelligent helmet and other latest safety facilities to strengthening medical facilities, a number of proposals to improve safety in coal mines have been pouring from representatives of various trade unions operating in the Singareni coal fields on the 49.
The meeting was chaired by the Chairman and CEO of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) N. Balram.
It was attended by the CEO for the Security of Mines (DGMS) UJJWAL move, Deputy CEO of DGMS TR Kannana, SCCL officials and representatives of SCCl-treated Collieries Workers Union (SCWU).
On this occasion, Mr. Balram said that trade union proposals would be properly considered and the necessary measures to increase the safety in coal mines would be taken.
He said, “SCCL has already given an example in coal production, and it is all responsible for all SCCLs into a company without accidents.”
He also assured that all facilities would be expanded to women in coal mines and that the company would take responsibility for their safety.
