
The Singarens Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) focused on another growing green coverage in the coal belt, ranked on the mega seedling plantation within the “Van Mahotsav” State Government program.
SCCL Chairman and CEO N Balram, who provided an inspirational example of personally planted 500 seedlings in the Ramagundam-1 area in Peddapall on Sunday, said SCCL chairman, chairman of the ScCl.
Mr. Balram planted about 19,570 seedlings individually in 52 VAs around the coal fields of the ScCl, which since 2019 covered large coal belts of the state. His ecological efforts helped to develop mini-les in the coal belt extended across six districts and won the Green Maple Award the Green Maple Foundation.
SCCL has already planted over 70 million seedlings per 14,000 hectares.
