The Supreme Court ordered Member Member Member Mithun Reddy to seek a predictive bail from the High Court Andr Pradesh in connection with the alcohol fraud.
On Tuesday, the Top Court recommended him to turn to the Supreme Court and noted that the circumstances had changed since his earlier petition. At that time, the High Court rejected his request because he has not yet been appointed accused and the government assured the court that he did not intend to arrest him.
However, the government has now reported that Mr Mithun Reddy was officially added in this case as accused.
Given this development, the bench, led by the Parthiwala Justice, recommended the High Court to review the matter on the basis of its merit. The Supreme Court also canceled the provisional protection of the formerly granted to Mithun Reddy. He proposed that the High Court should decide within four weeks on his plea of bail.
