You want to demoralize security forces; SC refuses to hear a drank over the attack of Pahalgam

On Thursday (1 May 2025), the Supreme Court refused to entertain the lawsuit of the court probe into the terrorist attack of Pahalgam, which remained 26 dead and asked if the litigation wanted to demorize security forces.
“It is a key time when every citizen of the country has joined the hands to fight terrorism. Do you want to demor security forces by submitting this kind of PIL (a petition in the area of public interest)?

In addition to the inhabitants of Kashmir Junaid Mohd, the petition filed by Fatesh Kumar Sahu and Vicky Kumar was looking for an independent agency headed by the former Supreme Court to investigate the attack of 22 April.
Justice Kant said that retirement judges were not professional investigators. Their strength consisted in harmony. “Do you ask the Supreme Retirement judge to investigate? Since the retirement judges become an investigation? They can only decide and decide on the problem. Do not ask us to adopt an order. They will resign,” Justice Kant told the petitioners.
The petition was also looking for direction to the center and administration of Jammu and Kashmir to ensure the safety of tourists.
The petitioners finally decided to withdraw their case.
