Andhra Pradesh State Commission for Scheduled Castes member Ravada Seetharam urged officials and supervisors of the welfare department to ensure supply of nutritious food and maintain sanitary conditions in hostels in Parvatipuram-Manyam district. He felicitated the social welfare officers and supervisors on the occasion of International Women’s Day in Parvatipuram on Sunday (March 8, 2026). He urged the parents to visit the hostels regularly and interact with the hostel managers and discuss the various problems they face in the discharge of their duties. Mr. Seetharam said that many children from Dalit communities were able to get higher education due to the support of the government, which built hostels in remote areas of Parvatipuram-Manyam district.
