Sunday is a big day for Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), which was created as Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) April 27 in 2001 with the only goal of fighting for statehood in Telangana. As an organization, the party is at a crossroads with a road filled with many ascends and falls that enter the silver jubilee year.
After the successful leadership of the Statehood movement for 14 years, the party went to power in 2014 and the wave of success continued another term before rural voters hit the party very hard in November 2023 of the elections, breaking the dream dream on the third consecutive period.
The political chart of the party fell to a new minimum when in the elections Lok Sabha 2024 attracted empty because its candidates fell to most of the 17 seats – the worst performance for the party on their way. Since then, the party has been trying to regroup with a focus on the ruling party of Congress, mostly emphasizes the inability of the ruling party to maintain its promises from contamination.
As part of the BRS Silver Jubilee celebrations, the BRS leadership chose Ellikturthi near Warangal, one of the two places (the other is Karimnagar), when the party had the most successful political assembly, for a daily meeting to be addressed by a public meeting to be addressed aside and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
The party led by several teams of the leaders of the parties and over the past few weeks has been taking measures for the Silver Jubilee action. According to the party leaders, the event is organized on land 1,213 hectares with 154 acres saved on a public meeting and the rest for other needs, including parking vehicles. Dasic would accommodate 500 parties.
The party for expanding first aid and emergency medical supplies planned on the spot 12 medical camps and six ambulances. All basic equipment, such as temporary toilets, food, drinking water, butter milk, are produced with volunteers drawn for parking and other equipment.
