
Mumbai: The India State Bank is trying to be a market leader in all 787 country districts, as preparing for the next 10 years, said CS chairman in an interview with Mint on the occasion of Platinu Jubilee.

“Although we have nearly 23,000 branches, we are still finding that in some emerging urban areas our presence is not there. This is what we call white spaces. So we would like to set up branches where we have to have a branch and deploy new sales force, whether it is our internal team or use some legs on the street.”
