Parts of Hyderabad were witnessed on Saturdays, because the Indian meteorological department (IMD) issued a strong warning for the city and the neighboring district of Medchal-Malkajgiri.
While the nilification was minimal, the downpour caused traffic jams at several key intersections throughout the city. When the showers coincided with the weekend, the Transport Movement at the IT Center was relatively light, but many people who got off for leisure activities saw their plans disturbed.
