The Minister of Public Work Satish Jarkiholi visited Mudigere Rain on Friday in the Chikkamagalur district and assured the elected representative that his department would take on road restoration and bridge building, wherever necessary.
The Minister was on a two -day visit to Malnad districts to assess the impact of heavy rains. Visited by Mudigere-Saragod Road, Kundur-Gabgal Road and Kundur-Vagar Aldur Road. He also examined the government of the Higher Elementary School in Chandugud, Aldur Hobli, along with elected representatives and officers.
The Minister ordered officers to prepare an action plan for the construction of a 13 km long concrete road to connect Aldur and Vagar. Later he inspected the roads and bridges damaged in the parts of the Sringeri assembly. He organized a meeting with the officers of his department in Khandya in Chikkamagalur Taluk.
At the beginning of the day, talking to reporters in Halase, Mudigere Taluk, the Minister said that this year 100 legs will be built in the Malnad region. The construction of 20 legs at the price of 20 GBP Crore has already been on.
Mr. Jarkiholi said that the legislators representing 36 constituencies submitted applications for finding funds at the foot. In the first phase, the government provided each constituency to the construction of the legs.
The Minister, referring to damage to the 40 km long road connecting Mudigere and Sakleshpur said that officers would prepare an action plan for captivity of road work. The necessary resources would be assigned. He also pointed out that the construction of a road bridge in the village of Bettadamane on the road Mudigere-Sakleshpur was delayed in 11 years for technical reasons.
