
Sanoj Mishra, a director who offered a viral sensation of MONALISA a role in his film during Kumbh Mel, was arrested in the case of rape. The arrest follows the rejection of his request for bail by the High Court in Delhi.
On March 30, 2024, Sanoj Misra, at the age of 45, was detained by the police in Delhi after the collection of intelligence and technical supervision. The arrest took place in Ghaziabad and Misra, who lives with his family in Mumbai, was taken into custody by the Nabi Karim police station.
The case focuses on a 28 -year -old woman from a small town who claimed that Mishhra had repeatedly raped her for four years.
The woman who was trying to become a film actress claimed that she was in a living relationship with Misra in Mumbai during this time. She also claimed that Misra had forced her to undergo abortion procedures on three separate occasions.
In her statement in her statement, the complainant also accused Misra of giving up her promise to marry her.
According to the police statement in Delhi, the company was filed on 6 March 2024, under several sections, including rape, attack, causing abortion and threat. The complainant also supported her accusation during the declaration pursuant to Section 164 of Criminal Proceedings (CRPC).
Police were able to collect medical evidence regarding alleged abortions from Muzaffarnagar.
The incident that launched a complaint occurred on 18 February 2025, when the accused allegedly brought the victim to the Hotel Shiva in Nabi Karim.
Misra is accused of physical relations with a woman during this visit before leaving her, leading to a police complaint. The arrest follows after the refusal of the Misrii deposit by the High Court in Delhi, which has previously explored this case.
