On Saturday, the SangameSwarar festival took place in Kottaimed and after a 32 -year break he described his return. A large number of devotees participated in the procession, offered prayers and showed a traditional event.
The festival preparations began on 4 May with the ceremonial lifting of the temple flag between 5:30 and 6:30 Special loans were carried out daily for the SangameSwarar and Akilandeswari.

Thousands of people participated in the procession. As part of the efforts to support municipal harmony, members of the local Muslim community spread out dedicated biscuits and refreshments.
