In the middle of the protest against the slow procedure for removing the collected sand from the mouth of the port canal Muthalapse, the state government opened a sandbar that prevented the water captured behind the bar in the entrance to the sea.
The water from five neighboring Panchayat is expected to flow into the sea in two days. The accumulated sand at the mouth of the port is a challenge for fishermen in the region with fishing vessels trapped inside the harbor.
After protest
Four excavators, excavators, types, types, etc. were functional to remove the collected sand. The decision was urgently adopted at the meeting of ministers after the protest of some fishermen and opposition clothing.
The removal of Sandbar was also very necessary for the state government, as it was preparing to implement the 177 GBP project for the development of the fishing port of Muthalapse. The Government of the Union approved the project and the state has initiated offering.
