
The state government decided to strengthen the health sector in the district of sanctions and modernization of medical centers.
The Council for the Regional Development of Kalyana Karnataka (KKRDB) sanctioned Crore 55.80 GBP for nine projects, because the main Minister Siddaramaiah laid the foundation stone for the proposed projects.
Four primary health centers (PHC) will be built at the price of 4 Crore 4 in Mudnur, Hegganadoddi, Tinthani and Narayanapore villages in Shorapur and Hunsagi Taluks.
One community health center (CHC) will be built at the price of 14 crore in the village of Gogi on Shahapur Taluk.
Four community medical centers in Doranahali, Hunsagi, Kembhavi and Gurmitkal will be upgraded from 30 beds to 50 beds for 6.45 Crore.
In addition, the government approved the construction of 17 subceivers at the price of 40 ₹ Lakh and other mother and children’s hospital for the price of 19 crore in Shahapur.
“The place for the construction of the mother and the children’s hospital in Shahapur has been completed and the offer will soon float,” said the Hindus District Health Director Mahesh Biradar.
Currently, the district has 41 PHC, six CHCs, two hospitals, one district hospital and one mother and a children’s hospital, and the number of medical centers will increase after new projects.
