On Friday (August 22, 2025), the India Supreme Court ordered the Sambhal mosque and issued a notification to Hindu petitioners. The bench of Judges PS Narasimha and as Chandurkar passed orders.
The Supreme Court was heard by the appeal filed by the Masjid Committee, which challenged the order of the High Court in Allahabad, which dismissed its claims against the survey ordered by Sambhal in Shahi Jama Masjid and Harihar Temple Dispote and followed the direction of the Civic Court for exploration. The High Court stated that the order for the appointment of the Court and the action was maintained.
The Committee for the Mosque was shifted by the High Court against November 19 November last year, managed by a civic judge managing a mosque survey in Mugal, which took place on the same day. The second survey conducted on November 24 last year, claimed the committee, was illegal because the Civic Court never ordered it.
