The Indian software engineer Soham Parekh defended himself after being charged with the Moonlight for several Silicon Valley startups and said he was forced to work up to 140 hours a week due to a “extremely terrible” financial situation.
The controversy began after Suhail Doshi, the co -founder of the playground and the mixpanel, reportedly on X (formerly Twitter) that Parekh “hunted on YC” and that most of the work was shown on his CV was false.
Since then, several startup founders have claimed that Parekh had impressed during the interviews, but after he was hired, he did not meet expectations.
Saham Parekh defends himself: “I’m not proud”
In an interview with the TBPN YouTube Parekh channel, “I’m not proud of what I did. That’s not something I support. But financial situation. No one really likes to work 140 hours a week, but I had to do it. I was in an extremely terrible financial situation.”
“I’m not too much human man. I don’t share much about what is happening to my life or my internal thought process. I was more stressed, I thought, hey, I want to come out of this situation. What should I do? He added.
Parekh added accusations that he had a job by hiring a team of engineers, and said, “I wish I had the money, and I wish it was true, but that’s not true. None of the founders I worked with.
