Members of AP Sagar Mitra Employees Union met Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy at his office here on Sunday and expressed their gratitude for his intervention in extending the social welfare scheme Pradhan Mantri Madhya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) by another six months.
Sagar Mitras are local youths engaged as ‘Friends of the Ocean’ under PMMSY to serve as a bridge between the government and fishermen in coastal villages.
