Sheikh Hassan Khan, a climber from the climber Keral stuck on Mount Denali in North America after a big storm, is now safe and began to descend.
According to officials, Chief of Staff Governor Alaska informed the Indian Ministry for External Affairs about his rescue. Denali National Park Rangers are in constant contact with Mr. Khan and his companion and provide the necessary assistance in returning.
During a short call, Mr. Khan informed his family that he descended from 17,000 feet to 13,000 feet and reached a new camp, his mother Shahida said.
Mr. Khan, a native of Pandalam, embarked on an expedition as part of a mission that planted the Indian flag in honor of the Sindoor Indian Army. He was stuck in 17,000 feet with a shrinking food and water supply, sent SOS via a satellite phone, leading to the intervention of the Ministry for External Affairs.
A 38 -year -old man is an assistant to the Secretariat Financial Department.
The rescue operation was accelerated after the coordinated efforts of the Minister of External Affairs of the Union S. Jaishankar and the Indian Embassy in Washington. Mr. Khan, who set out from India 4 June with his assistant from Chennai, last contacted his family on June 10 before the start of the ascent.
