The arrest of Bikram Singh Majithia caused a strong political will from the orchards. Party leader Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema criticized the Pandjab government and compared the security and procedural inclusion in the emergency era.
“This government wants to slander Akali’s leadership by spreading lies and false propaganda. This is Vendetta’s policy,” Cheema said, accusing the ruling party Aam Aadmi (AAP) about the use of a state machine for political targeting.
