Tendulkar debuted on November 15, 1989, at the age of 16. Just a month later, December 18, he played his first ODI match. During his famous career, he scored 34,357 runs in 664 international performances on average 48.52-what makes him the highest running shooter in the international cricket. It has a record for most of the centuries (100) and a half centuries (164) across the formats and remains the only player to score a century.
Only in ODI, Tendulkar gathered 18,426 runs on average 44.83, of which 49 centuries and 96 1950s. In tests, 15,921 runs scored an average of 53.78, with 51 centuries and 68 fifties. He was also the first player to win a double century and the only cricket to play 200 test matches.
Tendulkar was a key part of the Indian team, which won the ICC World Court in 2011 – a moment that fulfilled its lifelong dream after debuting in 1992.
