The state President Bharatiya Janata (BJP) Rajeev Chandrasekhar has launched this demonstration. The leader of the BJP also accused the main Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of injuring sentiments of believers by accepting a passive attitude to controversy.
“He claimed that gold theft was only a part of the album. But theft of four and a half kg of gold cannot be cleaned as a mere delay. It is direct prey and fraud,” he said.
He meets the governor
Mr. Chandrasekhar later led the delegation of leaders of BJP leaders to meet Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Alelekar and seek his intervention in alleged inconsistencies.
They asked him to suspend TDB, ordered the government to publish reports of Devaswom Vigilation prepared over the past 30 years, launched a thorough audit of all Devaswoms by the Administrator and the General Auditor in India and asked for the Central Agency to investigate transactions in the last 30 years in Devaswoms and temples.
