Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) chairman Ravi Naidu on Tuesday (March 17, 2026) condemned the alleged attack on TTD chairman BR Naidu’s family in Tirupati, calling it a “heinous and barbaric act”.
Speaking at the TDP headquarters in Mangalagiri, he alleged that the attack was pre-planned by YSRCP leaders, with rowdy elements being mobilized and incited before the family was targeted with stones and sticks. He said the police acted immediately to ensure their safety.
Mr. Ravi Naidu urged the DGP to arrest the persons involved and identify the masterminds, keeping YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in charge of the situation.
He also criticized the protests by YSRCP leaders that 108 rescue services were being obstructed and inconvenience to Class 10 students due to road blockades. He accused some leaders of creating riots in Tirupati and demanded strict action against those involved.
