“Both leaders have exchanged opinions on strengthening cooperation in agriculture, fertilizers, food processing and other areas of interest,” said the Prime Minister’s office in a press release.
It also reported that PM Modi gave his warm greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to the PMO statement PM Modi told Patrushev “that he is looking forward to greeting him to India at 23. India-Russia.”
At the beginning of September, the Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) said that PM Modi received a telephone call from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Mea said that during the call, the Russian President gave the greetings of PM Modi for his birthday and the leaders evaluated various problems of bilateral agenda.

The statement also stated: “Both leaders evaluated various questions about the bilateral program during the 23rd India-Russian annual summit. The Prime Minister said he was looking forward to welcoming President Putin to India at the end of this year.”
PM Modi then repeated full support for India for peaceful resolution of Ukraine conflict. Both leaders also agreed to remain in close contact, emphasized the statement.
