The Kremlin said on Friday that the war of Ukraine was “existential” for Russia after launching a wave of drones and rocket strokes in retaliation that killed at least three in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.
Kyiv announced that Russia fired 45 missiles and 407 drones after Russian President Vladimir Putin promised an attack in response to a Ukrainian attack on several Russian air foundations.
Green asks allies to increase pressure on Moscow
President Volodymyr responded to the threat by urging the allies to “definitely” increase pressure on Russia to suspend a war that left tens of thousands of dead for more than three years of struggle.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said AFP: “For us, it is an existential problem, a problem about our national interest, security, our future and the future of our children, our country.” He said it in response to the comparison of Moscow and Kiev President Donald Trump to fight children.
“We have to act definitely”
He said Zelena that about three people were killed in the capital and that Russia focused on a total of nine regions in Ukraine, including Lviv and Vollyn in the West, which borders on the Polish EU and NATO member.

“If someone does not exert pressure and gives war more time for life, they are involved and responsible. We must act definitely,” he wrote Zelena on his social media.
Russia controls one fifth of the territory of Ukraine
According to AFP, deadly attacks have escalated in recent weeks, although both sides organize peace interviews to end the conflict induced by the Russian February invasion 2022.
In eastern Ukraine, cities were destroyed and villages were destroyed, and millions of inhabitants were forced to escape from their homes, with the Russian forces dominated by about one fifth of the territory of Ukraine.
Russian air attacks have deteriorated in recent weeks when concerns were built over Ukraine with a low air defense capacity, AFP said.

The Ministry of Defense in Moscow stated that its forces had launched a “massive” rocket and a drone strike in a “response” to the recent attacks of Kiev on their territory.
AFP announced that Putin told Trump at the beginning of this week that Moscow would retaliate over the Ukrainian attack on Sunday, when the drones damaged military aircraft capable of nuclear on a Russian air base, including thousands of kilometers behind the front line in Siberia.
Operation Insolent, which lasted 18 months of planning, saw Kiev smuggling more than 100 small drones in Russia, placed them near Russian air foundations and released them in a coordinated attack.
The attempts at the ceasefire will succeed
Despite several recent rounds of meetings aimed at bringing peace between Ukrainian and Russian delegations, Putin has repeatedly refused a ceasefire and issued a number of extensive requirements to Ukraine if he wanted to stop fighting as AFP reports.
Requirements include completely pulling out soldiers from four regions claiming Russia, but its army fully controls, the end of Western military support and the ban on Ukraine joining NATO.

The Russian attack overnight left more fires burning in various districts of the capital, which caused destruction.
The first three respondents from the state emergency service were killed in negotiations with an earlier strike, said Interior Minister Igor Klymenko AFP.
“They worked under fire to help people,” he said, adding that another nine were injured and that “doctors are fighting for their lives.”
