Members of the trade unions for the development of the rural Tamilnad and the Congress of the Union Associations All India (Aituc) showed a protest in front of collectors on Monday and demanded an increase in minimum wages and other social security benefits.
In addition to increasing wages, rural dose hygiene staff, such as State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and Provident Fund employees, demanded.
The petitioners demanded the payment of COVID-19 motivation to carry out hygienic works during the pandemic.
