Along the National Highway 544, serious traffic jams were reported, especially along the Mannhy -wadakkanchery section after damage to service roads in heavy rainfall.
The situation has been escalating in recent days, so the passengers stuck together for hours and paralyzed everyday commuting throughout the region.
The worst section is near Lazukumpar, near Kuthiran tunnels, where the vehicles can be seen on kilometers. Anxiety was disrupted by regular travel and many private buses stopping operations. The overload also spilled on parallel routes, stopping traffic throughout the area.
In the Vanihampar, Kalliduk and Mudikkode, all within Panchayat Panchayat. The locals claim that the underpasses are built without proper planning or studies, resulting in poorly managed workplaces and traffic chaos.
In Kalliduk, the construction proceeds at an alarming slow pace, reportedly due to lack of labor. To make matters worse, the southern service path from Pattikkad to Kalliduk remains incomplete, which continues to suffocate the already tense traffic flow.
The playfulness of the situation was underlined when at the beginning of this week he was also caught in Mudikke, Mudikkode and the convoy of the main minister.
Transport overload also intensified in the pernbra, another key intersection along the highway, which combined the crisis.
The inhabitants called for immediate measures to accelerate construction, improve road conditions and introduce measures to control operation to restore normal.
